一、专业简介
无机非金属材料工程专业于1988年成立,始称建筑材料专业。1993年更名为无机非金属材料工程专业,隶属于石家庄铁道学院建筑工程系。2001年归到材料科学与工程系(学院),设“无机非金属材料工程”和“无机非金属材料科学”两个方向,组建了无机非系金属材料系实验室和材料科学系实验室,2009年成为河北省优势特色专业,在团队上形成了以博士为主的老中青结合的教学科研梯队,旨在服务于铁路、公路等土木交通工程建设及河北省地方建设领域。

三、专业培养目标
培养以混凝土/陶瓷为特色,能在建筑材料、土木及交通工程等相关行业从事无机非金属材料的质量检测、工程监理,生产技术及项目管理,工艺设计、技术与产品研发等工作;适应能力和实践能力强、富有社会责任感、职业道德和创新精神的高素质工程技术和管理人才。
毕业生毕业五年左右能达到下列目标:
①具有良好的修养和工程职业道德;
②在无机非金属材料制备、加工成型、材料分析、技术与产品研发、新材料应用等领域具有较强的竞争力,并发挥骨干作用;
③能够进行无机非金属材料及制品的质量检测、工程监理,生产技术及项目管理;
④能够具有融合新知识、新技术的思维和能力;
⑤有意愿创新实践,并有能力服务社会。
四、毕业要求
依据本专业特点和培养目标制定了毕业要求,也即员工毕业时达到如下状态:
1.在工程知识方面,能够将数学、自然科学、工程基础和专业知识用于解决无机非金属材料领域相关的复杂工程问题。
2.在问题分析方面,能够应用数学、自然科学和工程科学的基本原理,识别、表达、并通过文献研究分析材料制备与生产过程中复杂工程问题,以获得有效结论。
3.在设计/开发解决方案方面,能够针对材料制备和生产的特定需求,设计满足要求的系统、单元装备和工艺流程;并能够在设计环节中体现创新意识;在从事材料工程的设计时考虑社会、健康、 安全、法律、文化以及环境等因素。
- 在研究方面,能够基于科学原理并采用科学方法对材料研究过程中的复杂问题进行研究,包括设计实验、分析和解释数据、并通过信息综合得到合理有效的结论。
- 在使用现代工具方面,能够针对复杂工程问题,开发、选择与使用恰当的技术、资源、现代工程工具和信息技术工具,包括对材料研究过程中的复杂工程问题的预测与模拟,并能够理解其局限性。
- 在工程与社会方面,能够基于工程相关背景知识进行合理分析,评价无机非金属材料工程实践和复杂工程问题解决方案对社会、健康、安全、法律以及文化的影响,并理解应承担的责任。
- 在环境和可持续发展方面,能够理解和评价针对无机非金属材料工程专业复杂工程问题的工程实践对环境、社会可持续发展的影响。
- 在职业规范方面,具有人文社会科学素养、社会责任感,能够在工程实践中理解并遵守工程职业道德和规范,履行责任。
- 在个人和团队方面,能够在多学科背景下的团队中承担个体、团队成员以及负责人的角色。

无机非金属材料工程方向:胶凝材料学、混凝土学、土木工程材料检测技术、无机材料岩相学等;
无机非金属材料科学方向:陶瓷材料学、计算材料学、无机材料物理化学等。

九、课程修读要求
1.第四、七学期课程稍少,目的是给员工更多时间用于复习考四、六级英语、考研。
2.制图、计算机应用等工具性课程适当加深,是工程应用型人才培养的需要。
3.实践教学环节多,目的在于强化员工动手能力培养,达到工程应用型人才的培养目的。
4.基础课和专业基础课较多,目的在于强化员工的理论教育,有利于员工进一步深造和日后自学。
5.对学有余力的员工各课程模块有较多课程可供选修。同时,有最低选课量要求。选修课程中,有材料类的跨专业课程,还有跨学科课程。以供员工了解非本专业方向的其它材料专业方向的知识,了解土木工程设计与施工以及工程管理方面的知识。
6.通识类课程模块至少修8.0学分,其中管理类、营销类、职业教育和人文类课程各至少修1.5学分。学科基础课程和专业基础模块任选共修3学分,专业课程(必修43.5学分,限选12.0学分,任选6.0学分),实践环节比例不低于25%。
7.科研实践(080157S),这个任选课所有员工必须选,开课学期为4-7学期,第7学期给成绩。
8.通识教育选修课程中经济管理模块的必选课程:(1)T030025工程经济学。
